In 2007 we acquired our first Scottish Highland calf.  Ian was looking for his own 4-H project besides the goats and we had already tried Highland beef and knew it to be the best tasting meat we had ever had.  We quickly added another two heifers and from there built up our herd to be our current herd of breeders and commercial beef animals.  We have done well in the show ring in the past but are currently focusing on just the beef production aspect. 

 

Our registered mama cows are GardenHome Chelan, GardenHome Magnolia, and GardenHome Jasmine. Good quality cows are ones that produce meaty, fast growing offspring. And these girls do just that year after year.
